ECU carded a three round total of 11-over-par 875 (292-296-287) to finish in front of three ranked teams in seventh-place at the 2018 General Hackler Championships at the Dunes Golf and Beach Club at Myrtle Beach.

NEWS & NOTES
- ECU shot 1-under-par 287 in the final round Sunday. It was the fifth lowest round of the day among the 15-team field.
- The Pirates finished ahead of No. 31 NC State (eighth), No. 23 North Florida (ninth) and No. 26 South Carolina (10th).
- ECU recorded the second-most pars with 180, five behind No. 8 Georgia Tech.
- Senior Tim Conover fired a 54-hole score of par 216 (71-73-72). It was his second tournament of the second shooting par or better.
- Redshirt senior Jackson Spires recorded 40 pars, second-most in the field behind 41 by Virginia's Danny Walsh and LSU's Luis Gagne.
- Five of the Pirates' 15 rounds were par or better.
- Georgia Tech won the team title by five strokes over Texas A&M. The Yellow Jackets' Chris Petefish won medalist honors with a 7-under-par 209.

"It was great to shoot under par in the final round today and to beat some ranked teams. The Dunes is a wonderful golf course and the field here was great. This was a good way to end our Spring Break trip. Now we have a couple of weeks off as we get ready to host our home event at Brook Valley." – ECU Head Coach Andrew Sapp
