MT. PLEASANT, S.C. – ECU senior Lisa Pettersson posted a 54-hole score of 214 (2-under par) to finish tied for third at the Charleston Invitational. Pettersson led No. 45 ECU to a share of third place as the Pirates carded a tournament score of 882 (304-284-294).

"Really like how we fought and came back after another bad first round of play. It seems we just keep digging ourselves into a hole after the first round, which is something we just can't do at the conference tournament. We have a couple weeks to get ready for the American Athletic Conference Championship and I like our chances to compete, but there are a lot of good teams in our conference and it will be a shootout. Proud of Lisa for having a good finish taking third. She really played well and has worked hard and it's great to see it all payoff for her."

ECU closed out the regular season with a 108-31-1 record marking the 11th time in program history it has topped 100 wins in a year.
Pettersson recorded her ninth career Top 5 finish (third of the season) … It was also her fourth career Top 3 finish.
Kathryn Carson posted her fifth Top 20 finish of the season and eighth Top 22 finish after carding a 54-hole score of 221 (5-over par) claiming a share of 20th.
The Pirates second round score of 284 was the lowest of the 17 teams second round play – overall it was the second-lowest score … It also ranks as the 11th-lowest single round score in program history …
