ECU Wraps Up Regular Season At Two Meets

GREENVILLE, N.C. – The East Carolina track and field program will tune up one last time before the American Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships, attending the USC Open (Columbia, S.C.) and Virginia Challenge (Charlottesville, Va.) this weekend.

"This is a really important weekend," Director of Men's and Women's Track and Field and Cross Country Curt Kraft said. "Both teams have been progressing nicely over the last few weeks as far as improvement. We must continue to try and move up on the conference list in all events. This will be another great weekend of competition from SEC schools. Both teams have been competing with a lot of enthusiasm and excitement this entire outdoor season. Hopefully that momentum will continue right through this weekend."

The Pirates attended the Gamecock Invitational and Trojan relays last weekend, winning six events and setting four program top-10 times and marks.
