GREENVILLE, N.C. – East Carolina wraps up its four-game homestand on Wednesday afternoon when the Pirates welcome in-state foe N.C. Central for a midweek clash at 4 p.m. inside Max R. Joyner Family Stadium.

The game is free to the public and will be streamed via ESPN+ with Evan Budrovich and Raine Wilson on the call. The Pirates are coming off a series win over Memphis, taking down the Tigers 4-2 in the first two contests before Memphis pulled away from ECU in the series finale for a 6-3 win.

Taylor Edwards leads the Pirates at the plate with a batting average of .391 (4th in AAC), is tied for fourth with fellow outfielder Taudrea Sinnie in the AAC with five triples this season and has recorded multiple hits in 11 games. Sinnie is second in the American in stolen bases with 17 and Logan Sutton leads the team in home runs with six. N.C. Central is coming off a doubleheader with Norfolk State on Sunday that the Eagles split by losing the first game 3-1 and rebounding to take the second game 4-3. Makiya Graves leads the Eagles at the plate with a .362 batting average and Ivory Jones and Maegan Garrison each have hit seven home runs to lead N.C. Central. Jaden Davis is the team's top arm in the circle with a 3.50 ERA and team-high 66 strikeouts.
