GREENVILLE, N.C. – The East Carolina soccer team hits the road for the first game of a three-game road swing against in-state opponents on Sunday at 4 p.m. as they take on the High Point Panthers in Vert Stadium. The game will be available for streaming on ESPN+.

Last Time Out
The Pirates enter the game on a three-game winning streak and four-game unbeaten streak after downing UNCW, 2-0 last time out. Sydney Schnell scored in the fourth minute of that contest after Samantha Moxie's pressure forced the Seahawks into a mistake. Schnell made no mistake about it for the winner. There was no scoring again until the 88th minute when Ella Steck got out on the break one-on-one with the keeper and scored on the assist from Mackenna Gregory.

Scouting the Panthers
High Point enters the contest with a three-game unbeaten streak but through different means: a win over UNC Greensboro, a scoreless draw with App State and a 1-1 draw with Florida Gulf Coast last time out. Leah Malone scored late in that game on Thursday to pull the game even. Despite the score line, the Panthers controlled the game on the stat sheet with a 21-9 edge on shots and a 12-5 edge on corner kicks.

Series History
The Pirates and Panthers have met eight times in their histories with ECU holding a 7-1-0 edge. The Pirates won 2-0 a year ago with Grace Doran scoring the winner and an own goal setting the final margin.
