
ECU Men’s Golf Set To Compete In AAC Championships

BELLEAIR, Fla. – The East Carolina men's golf team is set to compete in the 2024 American Athletic Conference Championships, April 19-21, at the Pelican Golf Club (par 70, 6,881-yards). Pirate fans can follow all the action on GolfStat.com and live coverage of the third and final round to air on ESPN+.
Split tee times for the opening round on April 19 is set to begin with North Texas (No. 4), Memphis (No. 5) and UTSA (No. 6) teeing off the first hole between 8-8:52 a.m. (ET), while Rice (No. 10), Wichita State (No. 11) and Temple (No. 12) will begin on tee 10.
Top seed SMU, South Florida (No. 2) and Charlotte (No. 3) will begin on the first tee between 9:05-9:57 a.m. (ET), while East Carolina (No. 7), Florida Atlantic (No. 8) and UAB (No. 9) will begin their turn on hole 10. Teams will be re-paired based on cumulative score for both rounds two and three with split tee times for both ensuing rounds.
Competing for ECU will be sophomore Lucas Augustsson (No. 1), sophomore Philip Linberg Bondestad (No. 2), junior Carter Busse (No. 3), graduate student Ethan Hall (No. 4), junior Tyler DeChellis (No. 5). Freshman Drew O'Neal will be the Pirates' designated substitute.
