ECU Takes Fourth At ODU/Kilmaric Invitational, Bondestad Claims Share Of Third

HARBINGER, N.C. – East Carolina shot a tournament score of 863 (11-over par) finishing in fourth place at the ODU/Kilmaric Invitational Monday afternoon. The two-day, 54-hole event was being held at the par-71, 6,554-yard Kilmarlic Golf Club.
Senior Philip Linberg Bondestad finished tied for third out of 82 players posting rounds of 73, 67 and 72 for a 54-hole score of 212 (1-under par). Freshman Oscar Crowe recorded his best finish at ECU taking a share of seventh place with a score of 214 (1-over par) that included rounds of 70, 72 and 72.
Sophomore Holden Rucker placed tied for 19th place after a 5-over par 218 consisting of rounds of 75, 71 and 75, while junior Nathan O'Neal took a share of 25th place with a 6-over par 219 (72-73-74). Rounding out the Pirates roster was senior Davis DeLille placing 50th at 12-over par 225 (77-73-75).
William & Mary won the team title with an even-par 852, followed by Georgetown (859, 7-over) and Longwood (861, 9-over).
The Pirates, who ended their fall season, will be back in action on Feb. 16 when they participate in the Wexford Intercollegiate in Hilton Head, S.C.
