
Men’s Golf Opens Spring At Wexford Intercollegiate

GREENVILLE, N.C. – East Carolina will open the 2026 spring portion of its men's schedule Monday, Feb. 16 at the 20th Annual Wexford Intercollegiate which will be played at the Wexford Plantation Golf Course (Arnold Palmer Signature Course). Play will begin with 36 holes of continuous play Monday (shotgun) followed by a single round Tuesday (Feb. 17) with a shotgun start.
Joining ECU and host Francis Marion are College of Charleston, Cleveland State, Cornell, Dayton, DePaul, Gardner-Webb, High Point, Mercer, Presbyterian, Radford, Saint Joseph's, Samford, Temple, USC Aiken, Western Carolina and Xavier.
ECU Director of Golf/Head Coach Kevin Williams will use a lineup consisting of senior Philip Linberg Bondestad (No. 1), junior Drew O'Neal (No. 2), Nathan O'Neal (No. 3), sophomore Holden Rucker (No. 4) and senior Davis DeLille (No. 5).
A year ago, ECU finished third out of 18 teams posting a score of 879 (15-over), while Bondestad finished tied for fifth played with a one-under score of 215.
