Bragantini Named American Conference Freshman Diving Athlete of the Week

IRVING, Texas – East Carolina freshman Cecilia Bragantini has been named the American Conference Freshman Diving Athlete of the Week according to an announcement from the league office on Tuesday afternoon.
Bragantini placed second in both the 1-meter (279.65) and 3-meter (275.60) this past weekend in East Carolina's home diving meet against NC State and UNCW. The Verona, Italy native's 1-meter score was also an NCAA Zone Qualifying Score.
East Carolina returns to action inside Minges Natatorium this Saturday at 1 p.m. when the Pirates host Lynchburg and Barton in swimming only competition and face UNC Asheville in the diving well.
