Zuniga Named American Conference Diving Athlete of the Week For Third Time This Season

IRVING, Texas – East Carolina redshirt senior Frida Zuniga has been named the American Conference Diving Athlete of the Week according to an announcement from the league office on Tuesday afternoon.
Zuniga earns the weekly honor from the conference for the third time this season and the 10th time in her career at East Carolina.
She had an impressive showing at the Georgia Tech Invitational last weekend for the Pirates, finishing third in both the women's platform final (260.45) and in the women's 1-meter final (277.85). Zuniga also recorded a score of 262.95 in the 1-meter prelims at Georgia Tech.
