Pirate Invitational Weekend Schedule Altered

GREENVILLE, N.C. – Due winter weather that has affected the Pitt County area this week, the schedule for the Pirate Invitational softball tournament has been altered.

All games on Friday have been canceled and the rest of the weekend event is still expected to be played as scheduled. Loyola Chicago and Canisius will get things underway on Saturday, Feb. 22 starting at 10 a.m. (EST). East Carolina will play its first contest of the weekend at 2 p.m. (ET) against Canisius. Boston College is the fourth team participating in the Pirate Invitational and will open play on Saturday at 12: noon (EST) against Loyola College.

Friday, Feb. 21
10:00 AM – Boston College vs. Canisius – CANCELED
12:30 PM – Boston College vs. Loyola Chicago – CANCELED
3:00 PM – Canisius at East Carolina – CANCELED
5:30 PM – Loyola Chicago at East Carolina – CANCELED

Saturday, Feb. 22
10:00 AM – Loyola Chicago vs. Canisius
12 Noon – Loyola Chicago vs. Boston College
2:00 PM – Loyola Chicago at East Carolina
4:00 PM – Canisius at East Carolina

Sunday, Feb. 23
9:00 AM – Canisius vs. Loyola Chicago
11:30 AM – Boston College at East Carolina
