Elon, N.C. – East Carolina faces a pair of midweek tests as the Pirates battle Elon on the road Tuesday before returning to the friendly confines of Max R. Joyner Family Stadium to battle No. 19/21 Duke on Wednesday evening.Â
Tuesday's game with Elon will be streamed on FloCollege while Wednesday's contest with the Blue Devils will be streamed on ESPN+ with Evan Budrovich (pxp) and Courtney Layton (analyst) calling the action.
The Pirates are led at the plate by Kanisha Anderson's .439 batting average (3rd in AAC) and the speedy sophomore has 12 multi-hit games this season. Emma Jackson, Morgan Johnson and Annie Kate Dalton combine for 25 of the Pirates' league-best 36 home runs . ECU is 13-0 this season when they score six or more runs and 8-1 when scoring in the first inning. Taylor Apple (3.11 ERA, 75 Ks) and Kendall Frost (3.73 ERA, 54 Ks) are the two main arms in the circle for ECU.

Elon (15-12) has won its last four straight after sweeping Monmouth this past weekend. Kaitlyn Wells is the main power threat at the plate with eight home runs while McKenna McCard headlines the Phoenix in the circle with a 2.20 ERA and 43 strikeouts.Â

Aminah Vega leads Duke at the plate with a .394 batting average while Dani Drogemuller (2.99 ERA, 48 Ks) and Cassidy Curd (3.53 ERA, 88 Ks) lead Duke in the circle.
