Charlotte, N.C. – The East Carolina softball team will look to bounce back and snap its three-game skid this weekend when the Pirates travel to face in-state foe Charlotte for a three-game American Athletic Conference series.
Due to potential weather in the area on Sunday, both teams will play a doubleheader on Friday with the first game starting at 4 p.m.
All three games will be streamed on ESPN+ with Jon Gross (pxp) and Faith Cain (analyst) on the call. ECU is coming off three straight losses including two midweek games, losing 8-7 at Elon on Tuesday before falling to Duke, 11-0, in five innings at home on Wednesday.Â

Emma Jackson, Morgan Johnson and Annie Kate Dalton combine for 25 of the Pirates' 36 home runs, which is tied for first in the league . ECU is 14-1 this season when they score six or more runs and 9-1 when scoring in the first inning. Taylor Apple (3.30 ERA, 77 Ks) and Kendall Frost (3.94 ERA, 55 Ks) are the two main arms in the circle for ECU.
