GREENVILLE, N.C. – East Carolina continues its homestand as the Pirates host Florida Atlantic in a pivotal American Athletic Conference series at Max R. Joyner Family Stadium.Â
The series gets underway on Thursday at 5 p.m., followed by a 5 p.m. contest on Friday and the series finale on Saturday at noon. All three games will be streamed on ESPN+ with Patrick Johnson (pxp) and Courtney Layton (analyst) on the call.

Gabby Fowler led the way with a 3-for-3 performance with three RBI including two home runs while Anna Sawyer and Hailey Massaro each went yard in the bottom of the sixth for ECU. Taylor Apple went most of the way in the circle as Devin Long preserved the shutout in the top of the seventh.

Emma Jackson, Morgan Johnson and Annie Kate Dalton combine for 36 of the Pirates' 58 home runs, which is first in the league. Taylor Apple (3.06 ERA, 102 Ks) and Kendall Frost (3.79 ERA, 86 Ks) are the two main arms in the circle for ECU. The Pirates have hit 58 home runs on the season which is tied for the second-most hit in a season with the 2007 team. The single season program record is 64 which was set in 2017. Jackson is four homers away from passing Isonette Polonius who hit 18 in 1999 for the most home runs hit in a single season.
