Last Time Out
The Pirates erased a 13-point halftime deficit for the program's largest comeback win in three years to earn a 64-62 win over South Florida last Wednesday. The team was led by Jayla Hearp's 18 points in the game while Anzhané Hutton and Kennedy Fauntleroy both posted 15 points. ECU used an 18-2 run in the fourth quarter to roar back into the lead, finally going in front on a Fauntleroy three with under two minutes to play. A perfect 7-7 clip from the foul line in the final 44 seconds of the game helped the Pirates ice the game down the stretch.

Scouting Tulane
The Green Wave enter the game with an 8-14 record and a 3-7 clip in American Conference play, having dropped their last four contests, including an 85-53 loss to South Florida in their last outing on Saturday. Statistically, the team is led by Kanija Daniel's 12.0 points while Amira Mabry, who scored her 1,000th career point in her last outing, contributes 10.2 points and 6.1 rebounds per game. As a team, defense and rebounding has been the calling card as Tulane ranks in the top 100 nationally in both blocks per game and rebounds per game, as well as offensive rebounds per game. Dyllan Hanna has helped key the shot blocking efforts with her 1.5 blocks per game ranking second in the conference.

Reclaim
Each season the Pirates choose an important word, meaningful to the team, to put on the back of their practice jerseys. In 2025-26, the team chose the word "Reclaim", signifying the group's goals after a turbulent 2024-25 of returning to their roots as a defensive minded team, getting back to their standards as role models in the community and striving for excellence in the classroom.
