Women’s Golf Announces Signing Of Hallie Wilson

GREENVILLE, N.C. – East Carolina Director of Golf Kevin Williams has announced on Monday that Hallie Wilson has committed to compete for the Pirates golf program beginning in the fall of 2026.

Four-time CGA Champion including 2024 NC Junior Champion (event was held at Brook Valley CC in Greenville, NC) … Three-time North Carolina All-State selection … Won the 2024 North & South Junior Championship … Competed in the 2024 U.S. Girls' Junior Championship … Registered a Top 5 finish at the 2025 AJGA Russell Henley Junior Championship.

Wilson On Why She Chose East Carolina: "I chose East Carolina University because from the very beginning, the coaches made me feel believed in and valued not only as a golfer, but as a person. Being given the opportunity to join the program a year early showed the level of trust they have in my potential and their commitment to helping me develop. Their confidence in me made it clear this is a place where I can truly grow and compete at a high level. Beyond golf, ECU stood out to me as a place where I can grow in every aspect of my life. The campus and sense of community really stood out, and I wanted to be part of a program that is continuing to build something special while also pushing me to improve academically, athletically, and personally. I'm excited to be a part of what they are building and proud to become a Pirate!"

Hallie recently made the decision to reclassify to the Class of 2026 and join us this fall. We have been working hard to add another outstanding player alongside our early signee, Louise Krawiec, and we couldn't be happier that Hallie is becoming a Pirate. Her talent is obvious through her success and tournament victories, but what stood out even more during the recruiting process was her personality, maturity, and passion for the game. Hallie will make a tremendous impact on our program, and we are excited to welcome her to our Pirate Golf Family! Go Pirates!"
