
Four Pirates Named to College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Women's Tennis Team

GREENVILLE, N.C. – Four members of the East Carolina women's tennis team have earned 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® recognition: Kim Auerswald, Lilly Lancaster, Joan Madi and Skylar Moody.

Auerswald, a senior from Marne, Germany, competed in every match in the spring season for the Pirates, winning on seven occasions in both singles and doubles play, while compiling a 3.93 GPA in her Sports Studies & Communications studies in the classroom.

Lancaster, a sophomore from Cumming, Ga., competed in three events in singles play while teaming up with Xenia Jeromin on 13 occasions in doubles play with an 8-5 record. Academically, she has compiled a 3.99 GPA in her studies for a Nursing degree.

Madi, a senior from Baabdath, Lebanon, competed 14 times this spring, winning four matches in singles play and once in doubles play alongside Ivona Savekova. In the classroom she has a 3.86 GPA in her pursuit of a degree in Art.

Moody, a sophomore from McKinney, Texas, competed once in singles play but 13 times in doubles play this spring alongside her studies for an Exercise Physiology degree. She has a cumulative GPA of 3.54.

The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Women's Tennis teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. To be eligible for the honor, student-athletes must compete in at least 75 percent of an institution's days of competition while maintaining a 3.50 GPA or better.
