
Paris Masaracchia Named Assistant Lacrosse Coach

GREENVILLE, N.C. – Paris Masaracchia has been named an assistant coach for the East Carolina Lacrosse team head coach Haley Hicklen officially announced Monday. Masaracchia is the second hire to Hicklin's staff joining Jaclen Moxley since she was named to head the program on May 26, 2026.

Masaracchia's appointment to the Pirates' staff ends a four-year collegiate stint where she played at Clemson University from 2023-26. As a four-year starter for the Tigers, she set the school record for ground balls (113) while registering 100 career turnovers and 95 draw controls. She was an instrumental part of a Tiger program that tallied 52 wins, secured a pair of second round NCAA appearances and made four consecutive quarterfinal and two-straight semi-final appearances in the Atlantic Coast Conference Tournaments.

Masaracchia's on-field accolades consists of being a three-time IWLCA All-South Regional selection (first team/2024, second team/2025-26), two-time USA Lacrosse Preseason All-America Honorable Mention (2025-26), ACC All-Tournament Team (2025), Nike Lacrosse Preseason Women's DI Media Third-Team All-American (2025) and ACC All-Freshman Team (2023).

Off the field, the Enola, Pa. native earned her undergraduate degree in business management (December 2025) and received a master's in business administration (MBA) in May of 2027. Masaracchia was an ACC postgraduate scholarship award winner, received the department of management academic achievement award, a three-time IWLCA Academic and All-ACC Academic Team selection, inducted into the Lambda Alpha Phi Honor Society, named a National Society of Collegiate Scholar (2023) and earned inclusion on the Presidents List (2022) and Dean's List (2023-25).

Additionally, she participated in the IWLCA Coaching Symposium, was a two-time team captain, served on several committees including the lTiger Ladership Council, Clemson Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, ACC Women's Lacrosse Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, Clemson Student-Athlete Leadership Team, Power Women's Leadership Academy and the Tiger Leadership Academy.
