Projected to compete for significant playing time in the Pirate secondary (cornerback) and on special teams during first season on ECU’s active roster … Enjoyed stellar spring practice period to further promote development … Contributed a tackle, netted an interception and added a pass deflection during first spring scrimmage on April 1 … Collected another stop in the second matchup a week later before finishing drills with seven stops, including one for lost yardage, in the Purple-Gold Game (April 22) … Clocked at 4.38 in the 40-yard dash to rank among the fastest players in the program … Speed could allow for selected offensive snaps in certain situations.Â
