Eastern Kentucky leads the field of 19 teams shooting 569, seven strokes under par, in the first two rounds of the tournament. . The Pirates sit in second place just three strokes off the leader, having shot four under during the first day of competition.
Eastern Kentucky's Brandon Brown leads all players with a two-round score of 132. He shot 66 in both the morning and afternoon rounds and is 12 under par heading into tomorrow's final round. Jonathan Hill had the best finish for the Pirates, finishing at 13 (66-69), nine under par, for a second place finish. George Mason's Craig Mason is in third place at 138 (72-66).
The Pirates had two players finish in the top 10, Hill and Jason Harris (tied-ninth). Will Pope, playing individually for the Pirates finished at three over par in a tie for 25th.
The third and final round of the tournament will begin tomorrow morning at 8 a.m. at Bradford Creek.
