Men's Golf In Fourth Place At Carolina Intercollegiate

After the first two rounds of competition, Old Dominion University, led by junior Christopher Kline, owns the lead, while the host school is tied for second.
ODU fired an opening-round 289 and followed that with a two-under-par 286 score in the afternoon round to lead the 16-team field with a one-under-par 575 tally. FMU, which has never won its own tournament, was tied for second after the morning round with a 290 score, and then fired an even-par 288 in the afternoon to finish in a tie with the University of Southern Mississippi at 578.
East Carolina University and UNC Wilmington are tied for fourth place at four-over-par 580.
University of South Alabama senior Ryan Gildersleeve fired a course record-tying, eight-under-par 64 during the morning round and after an even-par 72 in the afternoon leads the individual standings at 136. The record was established several years ago in a BUY.COM Tour event.
FMU junior Fredrik Ohlsson and Kline both fired rounds of 71 in the morning and 68 in the afternoon and stand tied for second at five-under-par 139. Luke Stephen of Kennesaw State University is fourth at 140, while Tulane University
