Manuse Named C-USA Co-Hitter Of The Week

Manuse, who also received the weekly accolade once as a junior, led ECU to a three-game sweep of conference rival Louisville this past weekend, going 4-for-5 with a pair of home runs, double, four RBI and was issued five intentional walks. Both of her home runs were solo blasts coming in the series opener and finale. She drove in two runs in each of those games, including the game-winning run in the opener.
She currently leads Conference USA in five offensive categories including doubles (18) and RBI (56). Manuse also ranks second in the league in home runs (13) and third in hits (63) and batting average (.377).
Manuse and her teammates travel to Chicago this weekend for a showdown with first-place DePaul. The Pirates are in second place in the league standings, two games back of the league-leading Blue Demons.
