
Lady Pirates Golf Ranked 23rd By Golfweek

GREENVILLE, N.C. - The East Carolina women's golf team remained in the national collegiate golf rankings Monday afternoon garnering a No. 23 ranking by Golfweek.
The Pirates (17-14), who finished 15th at the Tar Heel Invitational last week, dropped three spots in the weekly polls and are currently the highest ranked Conference USA team in the top 50 ahead of (43) Tulsa and (47) UCF. Other notable regional teams in the top 25 are (2) Duke, (5) Alabama, (6) Florida, (7) Tennessee, (9) Auburn, (10) Georgia, (15) Vanderbilt, (17) Wake Forest and (21) NC State.
Despite her second top 20 finish of the season at the Tar Heel Invitational (t-19), sophomore Abby Bools dropped to 37th in the individual rankings this week, while freshman Amber Littman fell to 82nd.
ECU (17-14) will hit the links again on Monday, Oct. 15 when it participates in the UNCG/ Starmount Fall Classic, which will be played in Greensboro, N.C.
