Abby Bools Named C-USA Golfer-of-the-Week

IRVING, Texas -East Carolina junior Abby Bools was named Conference USA Women's Golfer-of-the-Week league officials announced Wednesday afternoon. It is her first weekly award this season and the fourth of her career.
The Hickory, N.C. native helped the Pirates to a second place finish this week at the 2008 Lady Pirate Intercollegiate, which was held at the Greenville Golf Country Club. Bools carded a three-day score of 220 (73-69-78) and captured her second top-three finish of the season and 13th career Top 10 placement on her way to all-tournament honors.
Bools and the Pirates will be back in action this weekend when they participate in the Landfall Tradition in Wilmington, N.C.
