
Littman Tied For Ninth Heading Into Final Round

SKOKIE, Ill. -East Carolina sophomore Amber Littman posted a 36-hole score of six-over par (150) and currently sits in a tie for ninth place with 18 holes remaining at the 2008 Windy City Collegiate Classic. The event is being played at the par-72, 6.320-yard Evanston Golf Club, home of Northwestern Golf.
Fellow golfer Ana Maria Puche is the other Pirate that sits among the Top 20 leaders after carding a first day score of 151, seven-over par, and is tied for 16th. Colleen Estes is tied for 44th (158/14-over par), while Amy Otteson is tied for 2nd (162/18-over par) and Abby Bools is in 60th (165/21-over par).
In the team portion of the event, East Carolina is tied for 10th after posting rounds of 320 and 301 for a 36-hole score of 621. Heading into final round action, Purdue (301-290=591) holds an eight shot lead over Michigan (300-299=599). Sitting in third is Oklahoma (301-301=602) followed by Arizona (297-306=603) and TCU (306-297=603) who share fourth place.
Junthima Gulyanamitta (138/Purdue) holds a five-shot lead over Oklahoma's Ellen Mueller (143) followed by Maria Hernandez (011/Purdue), and Min Yean Tan (146/Michigan).
