Penn State National Meet Cancelled

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Friday's Penn State National cross country meet, which East Carolina's men's and women's teams were scheduled to compete in, has been cancelled due to inclement weather.
A winter storm warning was issued for southeastern and central Pennsylvania around 8 a.m. this morning as between four and 10 inches of snow fell in the area throughout the night.
The Pirates' next scheduled event is the Conference USA Championship at the Bear Branch Sportsfields in Woodlands, Texas, Oct. 31. Last season at the league meet, the men placed fifth and the women came in sixth.
