Cross Country Heads to Concord for American Conference Championship

CONCORD, N.C. – The East Carolina cross country teams are set to compete at the 2025 American Athletic Conference Championships this Saturday, November 1, at Frank Liske Park in Concord, North Carolina. The men's 8K race is slated to begin at 9:15 a.m. ET, followed by the women's 6K at 10 a.m. ET. Fans can watch the action live on ESPN+ beginning at 9 a.m.

The Pirates enter the weekend looking to close their fall season with strong performances against some of the conference's best programs. The team last competed at the Panorama Farms Invitational hosted by Virginia, where the women placed ninth and the men finished 11th. Building on those results, ECU aims to carry that momentum into championship weekend, hoping to post personal bests and improve team finishes from last year's conference meet.

Tulane's men and Tulsa's women enter the weekend as the defending conference champions, but the Pirates are eager to challenge the field and showcase the strides they've made throughout the fall.
