
Lady Pirates Take Aim For Second C-USA Title

TULSA, Okla. - The East Carolina women's golf team will look to claim its second Conference USA Golf Championship when the 2009 event gets underway this morning at the Tulsa Country Club. The event takes place from Sunday-Tuesday, April 12-14, at the Tulsa Country Club.
A year ago, the Pirates (922) finished second behind Tulsa, who posted a 54-hole total of 904 at the Butterfield Trail Golf Club in El Paso, Texas. Then sophomore Abby Bools was named to the all-tournament squad after claiming fourth place. Amber Littman took home a share of seventh place while former Pirate Emelie Lind garnered a top-10 finish.
Teams will tee-off beginning at 8:30 am on Sunday and Monday with an 8:00 am tee time for the final round on Tuesday. Live scoring can be found on www.GolfStat.com.
