
Abby Bools In Contention At Bryan National

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Junior Abby Bools (148) moved up one spot to sixth place Saturday afternoon firing a second round score of 73 and sits just five shots off the lead with 18 holes remaining at the Bryan National Collegiate event which is being held at the Bryan Park Golf Course.
Ana Maria Puche (154) is tied for 28th with 18 holes remaining after a round of 77, while Amber Littman (76-79=155) is tied for 39th. Colleen Estes finished day two with an 83 and is tied for 73rd and Amy Otteson improved from her opening round of 90 to fire a 77 for a share of 86th place.
Wake Forest's Nannette Hill (143) recorded a low round of 68 and holds a two shot lead over Catherine O'Donnell (UNC) and Tessa Teachman (LSU).
As a team, East Carolina (611) dropped one spot to fifth place after a team score of 306 and is 10 shots out of second place. LSU (592) continues to lead the team portion of the event following its opening round 290 with a second day score of 302. North Carolina (601) jumped into second place, nine shots behind the Tigers after a 294 score. Rounding out the top five are Wake Forest (602), Virginia (604) and ECU (611).
