Gainesville, Fla. - Junior Abby Bools carded a second round 75, five-over par and currently sits in a share of eighth place with a 36-hole score of 143 (68-75) heading into final round action at the 2009 NCAA East Regional. The tournament is being played at the par-70 Mark Bostick Golf Course in Gainesville, Fla.
The Pirates, who lead after the first round, dropped to 11th after a second round score of 313 and sit 21 shot behind the leader Alabama (575). The University of Denver (583) is second followed by Tennessee and Vanderbilt, who are tied for third at 585 and Virginia (587) rounds out the top five.
Ana Maria Puche dropped to a tie for 38th after a second round scored of 81, 11-over par and has a two-day total of 149. Amber Littman (152) is tied for 54th, while Amy Otteson (153) holds a share of 69th and Colleen Estes(163) is tied for 97th.
