Bools Named C-USA Golfer-of-the-Week

IRVING, Texas - East Carolina senior Abby Bools has been named Conference USA Women's Golfer-of-the-Week after finishing third at the 2010 JMU/Eagle Landing Invite. This marks her eighth career Golfer-of-the-Week honor and third of the season.
The Hickory, N.C. native carded a four-over par 216 (72-75-73) and helped the Pirates to a share of fifth place, their fourth top-five finish of the season. After carding five birdies and 43 pars, Bools dropped her season-stroke average to 74.61, which ranks as the second-lowest single season average in school history.
Bools and the Pirates will be back in action on March 22-23 when they participate in the Pinehurst Challenge hosted by the College of Charleston.
