HOUSTON, Texas - The Conference USA regular season champion East Carolina softball team will go for its first league tournament title Saturday at 5:30 p.m. against UCF (35-20). The Pirates (41-16) have played in one other championship game, a 1-0 loss against Houston in Orlando, Fla. ECU lost that contest 1-0 on an unearned run in the first inning.
