AUSTIN, Texas - The East Carolina softball team (44-17) faces BYU (45-11) for the Austin Regional title Saturday at 2:00 p.m. Friday, the Pirates recorded a 3-0 victory over Iona and eliminated host Texas 1-0 to advance to the championship contest. The Cougars defeated ECU 1-0 in Thursday's opening round and topped Texas 9-8 Friday afternoon.
