Cross Country Heads to Wake Forest Invitational

GREENVILLE, N.C. - The East Carolina men's and women's cross country teams will compete at the 2015 Wake Forest Invitational on Friday, Oct. 16 in Kernersville, N.C.
The men's race is scheduled for 5:15 p.m., while the women's event will begin at the conclusion of the first run.
The Pirates last competed at Lehigh's prestigious Paul Short Invitational in Bethlehem, Pa., where 13 runners achieved personal-best times in their respective races. Junior Caroline Reiser was the top women's finisher for the third-straight meet, topping her previous best time by more than one minute with a mark of 21:10 which was also the third fastest time in program history.
Following Friday's meet, ECU will have 15 days to prepare before hosting the 2015 American Athletic Conference Championship at Lake Kristi.
