GREENVILLE, N.C. - The East Carolina men's and women's cross country squads wrapped up their 2015 campaigns Friday at the NCAA Southeast Regional. The meet was hosted by the University of Virginia at Panorama Farms in Earlysville, Va.
The women improved six spots from their performance in last year's regional as they finished in 21st place out of 33 squads. The men took 24th out of 32 teams.

Classmate Pol Solanelles was the next-highest Pirate finisher taking 118th with a time of 32:12.90 - the ninth-fastest 10K mark in school annals.
On the women's side, junior and All-AAC selection Caroline Reiser fell just short of earning all-region accolades as she crossed the finish line in 22:06.30 putting her 42nd. Senior Shewit Weldense completed her career in style with a personal-best 22:56.30.
