Softball Adds a Pair of Doubleheaders to Fall Schedule

GREENVILLE, N.C. - After the cancellation of a pair of softball fall contests due to weather, East Carolina head coach Courtney Oliver has announced the addition to two doubleheaders to the Pirates' fall schedule. ECU will now face Longwood on Sunday, Oct. 18 and UNC Greensboro on Wednesday, Oct. 21.
The Pirates and the Lancers will meet in Greenville, N.C., on Sunday at 1 p.m. for a doubleheader. Three days later, East Carolina will head to Greensboro, N.C. to take on UNCG in a doubleheader that will begin at 5 p.m.
The remainder of East Carolina's fall schedule is still intact as the Pirates host Pitt Community College at ECU Softball Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 24 at noon.
ECU will wrap up the fall season Sunday, Oct. 25, in Elon, N.C., with a noon doubleheader against the Phoenix at Hunt Softball Park.
