Soccer to Hold Walk-On Try Outs in January

GREENVILLE, N.C. – The East Carolina soccer program will hold open walk-on tryouts in January at Johnson Stadium, head coach Rob Donnenwirth announced Thursday.
All interested students must complete the tryout approval form and physical form that are located at the top of this page. You must use the form(s) that are provided for your physical (NO EXCEPTIONS). Both the physical form and ECU tryout form must be completed PRIOR to the tryout.
For students that are interested in participating in walk-on tryouts, YOU MUST contact Rob Donnenwirth via email donnenwirhr@ecu.edu to be allowed to participate.
Walk-on requirements: In order to participate in walk-on tryouts you must be a currently enrolled student at East Carolina University (at least 12 credit hours undergraduate and 9 credit hours graduate), meet the NCAA's certification requirements and have a complete physical PRIOR to trying out (note: proof of sickle cell status must be provided prior to being cleared medically). Physicals and sickle cell screening can be completed at the ECU Student Health Center or at your own doctor's office. All appointments are to be made and paid for on your own. The ECU tryout process and physical forms can be viewed and printed out by clicking on the Athletic Training page of ECUPirates.com. All paperwork must be turned into the soccer office.
