NAPA, Calif. – East Carolina freshman Dorthea Forbrigd is tied for 34th after carding a second round 74 (2-under par) during second round action at the 2017 Silverado Showdown. The three-day, 54-hole event is being held at the par-72, 6,176-yard Silverado Resort and Spa.
Forbrigd (148) registered a pair of birdies on holes 10 and 17 to go along with four bogeys and 12 pars. Sophomore Kate Law and junior Lisa Pettersson are tied for 59th with a two-day score of 152 (8-over par) following rounds of 77 and 77. Rounding out the Pirates roster are freshman Siranon Shoomee (158/t79) and junior Carley Cox (163/t85).
Third-ranked Stanford (559) leads the event by four strokes over No. 6 UCLA (564) going into final round action on Tuesday. No. 33 Colorado (577) is third followed by No. 13 Northwestern (581) and No. 28 California (583) and Iowa State (583). ECU is currently 16t after 36 holes with a two-day score of 610 (16-over par).
