
Bristle Earns All-Conference Honors At AAC Championships

NEW ORLEANS, La. – Freshman Anna Bristle garnered all-conference accolades at the American Athletic Conference Cross Country Championships Thursday morning, finishing 14th overall under rainy conditions at the Golf Club at Audubon Park in New Orleans.

The women finished sixth as a team while the men placed eighth.

Bristle crossed the finish line in a time of 23:21.66 while junior Nuria Tillo-Prats and freshman Abby Yourkavitch were second and third for the Pirates in 33rd (24:05.41) and 34th (24:07.78) place.

On the men's side, freshman Ethan Hageman was the top finisher for ECU as he took 24th place in a 8K time of 28:51.19. Senior Alex Boseman placed 31st (29:03.28) and classmate Nick Ciaccia finished 51st (30:00.35) to round out the top three Pirate performers.

The NCAA Southeast Regional is scheduled for Nov. 9 in Rock Hill, S.C.
