VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Senior Dorthea Forbrigd posted a five-over par 218 to finish tied for 17th at the Princess Anne Invitational. ECU posted a posted a score of 878 (38-over) and finished 11th out of 15 teams. The three-day event was being played at the par 70, 5,826-yard Princess Anne Country Club.

The Pirates (25-11), posted rounds of 294, 297 and 287 for an 11th-place finish in their third event of the season. LSU and Virginia Tech (843) finished tied for first, followed by Chattanooga (856), UCF (858) an Old Dominion (861).

Forbrigd shot a 5-over par 215 (75, 72, 68) to lead the Pirates for her 22nd Top 20 Top 20 finish. Siranon Shoome, Grace Yatawara and Kathryn Carson finished in a tie for 48th after posting a three-day score of 222 (12-over), while Caroline Hermes finished 18-over at 228.

The Pirates will return to action on Friday, Oct. 18 when they travel to Louisville, Ky. to participate in the Cardinal Cup. The two-day, 54-hole event will be played at the UofL Golf Club.
