Lacrosse Announces Early Signees

GREENVILLE, N.C. – The East Carolina women's lacrosse program has signed eight high school student-athletes to national letters of intent during the 2020-21 early signing period, announced by head coach Amanda Moore on Friday.

The group is made up of four primary midfielders, two attackers, one defender and a goalie. The future Pirates hail from four different states: Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Texas.

"We are extremely excited to welcome this group of players to campus," Moore said. "This signing class is one of our most competitive and athletic recruiting classes to date at ECU and I know they are eager to start the next chapter of their lacrosse careers as Pirates."
Moore is entering her fourth year in charge of the ECU women's lacrosse program after being named the first head coach in program history in 2016. The Pirates were 5-3 in the shortened 2020 season, tying the 2019 team for the most wins in the program history.
