
Behar Tabbed American Athletic Conference Goalkeeper of the Week

IRVING, Texas - Jaime Behar has been named American Athletic Conference Goalkeeper of the Week, the league announced Monday. Behar was joined in weekly recognition by Frances Kimel who was named to the league's weekly Honor Roll.
Behar's honor is the first of her career and comes after a phenomenal performance against Queens on Saturday. The sophomore entered the game in the second quarter with the Pirates down four and took command, making 11 saves and helping the team charge back for a 15-12 win. It was Behar's first career win and one she finished with a save percentage of .733.
Kimel showed her talent once again Saturday, scoring four goals and adding an assist. It was Kimel's 42nd career multi-point and 29th career multi-goal game, matching her career best for goals in a game.
Behar, Kimel and the Pirates will be back in action on Wednesday at 4 p.m. in Johnson Stadium as they host the Garder-Webb Runnin' Bulldogs. The game will be available for streaming on ESPN+.
