ECU In Fourth Place After Day 1 At AAC Championships

DALLAS, Texas – The East Carolina women's swimming and diving team tallied 158 points during the opening day of the 2025 American Athletic Conference Championships and currently sits in fourth place. Tulane leads the team event with 172 points followed by North Texas (166) and Rice (158) for the first four spots.

ECU's 200-yard medley relay team, which featured Laura Lopez, Kaylee Hamblin, Sara Kalawska and Mikayla Durkin, took fourth place posting a time of 1:39.91. In the team diving event, the Pirates posted a fourth-place finish of 245.45, while in the 800-yard freestyle relay, ECU claimed third with a time of 7:17.06.
