GREENVILLE, N.C. – East Carolina will look to get back on track this Tuesday night when the Pirates host N.C. Central at Max R. Joyner Family Stadium.

The game is scheduled for a 6 p.m. first pitch and will be streamed on ESPN+ with Patrick Johnson (play-by-play) and Courtney Layton (analyst) on the call.

ECU comes into Tuesday having lost three of its last four games as the Pirates fell, 11-5, at NC State last Tuesday before losing two of three to AAC foe Tulsa at home this past weekend.

Kanisha Anderson continues her hot start to the season, leading the Pirates at the plate with a .451 batting average and the slapper has recorded four triples already this season. Morgan Johnson and Emma Jackson lead ECU in home runs with eight on the year, followed by Annie Kate Dalton's six homers. The Pirates are one of the top teams in the country in hitting home runs with 31 on the season (1st in AAC). Kendall Frost (3.99 ERA, 48 Ks) and Taylor Apple (2.62 ERA, 72 Ks) make up the Pirates' two-headed monster in the circle.

Scouting the Eagles
N.C. Central (3-23) comes into Tuesday night having lost its last three games and nine of its last 10. Tyler Suttles leads the Eagles at the plate with a .305 batting average and Samaria Jackson leads the team in home runs with three. Jaden Davis is the top arm in the circle for N.C. Central with 48 strikeouts and a 5.88 ERA.

Series History
ECU leads the all-time series with N.C. Central 10-0 after defeating the Eagles earlier this year 9-3.
