PIrates Set To Compete In City Of Oaks Collegiate

Raleigh, N.C. – The East Carolina women's golf team is set to compete in the City of Oaks Collegiate, hosted by NC State, as the Pirates will tee off competition this Friday morning.

The two-day tournament will be contested at the par-72, 6,181-yard Lonnie Poole Golf Course. Friday will be an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start and the teams will tee off on hole 10 at 8 a.m. and hole one at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday.

Andrea Miralles, Zoe Allaux, Danielle Modder, Nicole Nash and Ella Stalvey will be the five competing for the Pirates. Miralles was ECU's top performer in the Briar's Creek Invitational, shooting one-over par 147 to tie for 17th and help lead the Pirates to a top five finish.

Central Michigan, Old Dominion, Marshall, Georgetown, Western Carolina, Charlotte, App State, Elon, Richmond, Campbell, Rutgers, Boston College, Coastal Carolina, UNCG and James Madison will join East Carolina and NC State in the tournament.
