GREENVILLE, N.C. – The East Carolina softball team continues its homestand this week as the Pirates welcome in-state foe UNCW to town on Wednesday before hosting the Pirate Clash this weekend at Max R. Joyner Family Stadium.
The Pirate Clash will be held from Feb. 20-22 as James Madison, St. Bonaventure and Towson will join the Pirates.
The Pirates and Seahawks will battle on Wednesday at 5 p.m. and the game will be streamed on ecupirates.com. ECU's games in the Pirate Clash on Friday and Saturday will be streamed on ecupirates.com with Sunday's contest against James Madison at 12:30 p.m. available to watch on ESPN+.
Admission is free for fans to all games.
Jenna Krol and Sarah Stone lead the Pirates in batting average with the former earning American Conference Honorable Mention after recording a hit in each of the Pirates' five games last week. Julia Apostolakos leads ECU in the circle with an ERA of 3.50 and 21 strikeouts.

East Carolina defeated Maryland, 2-1, on Sunday to conclude the Purple-Gold Invitational.
UNCW Series History
ECU leads the all-time series with UNCW 83-23 as the Pirates have won three of the last four meetings including a 7-5 win at home last year.
