ECU Announces Lacrosse Leadership Change

GREENVILLE, N.C. – ECU Director of Athletics Jon Gilbert announced Monday that the contract of lacrosse head coach Brittany Dipper will not be renewed when it expires at the end of June.

"We appreciate Brittany's commitment to ECU and our lacrosse program," Gilbert said. "We wish her the best in her future endeavors. A national search will begin immediately to identify the next leader of our lacrosse program moving forward."

Dipper compiled a 19-31 record in three seasons at the Pirates' helm including an 8-9 mark in 2026.
