GREENVILLE, N.C. -- The ECU lacrosse team will look to earn its second win of the season when it plays Campbell Saturday, Feb. 24, at noon at Barker-Lane Stadium in Buies Creek.
Â
The Pirates (1-2) are coming off a disappointing 15-4 loss to Liberty at home Wednesday.
Â
"I think we all were a little bit flat," ECU Head Coach Amanda Barnes said. "We need to take care of the ball more, protect our sticks and we need to value our possessions. A lot of our turnovers were unforced errors and that's unacceptable lacrosse."
Â
It's four goals came courtesy of Nicole LeGar, Ally Stanton, Mackell Schultes and Emma Bowman.
Â
Legar leads the team with seven goals, while Stanton, Sullivan and Megan Pallozzi have scored six each. Sullivan leads the Pirates with nine points.
Â
Campbell (0-3) is coming off matchups with two nationally ranked opponents in less than a week, falling on the road at No. 18 Duke and at No. 25 Virginia Tech.
Â
Mackenzie Koeller and Melissa Placek have combined to score 10 of the Camels' 21 goals this season, scoring five goals each.
