GREENVILLE, N.C. – The East Carolina lacrosse team hosts Navy (RV) on Sunday at 12 p.m. in Johnson Stadium. The game is free to attend and a feed of the game will be available on ecupirates.com.

Last Time Out
The Pirates defeated the Radford Highlanders, 15-5, in their season opener. Frances Kimel and Ellie Bromley were excellent on the day with three goals and three assists and four goals on just four shots, respectively. The Pirates put up a great defensive showing as well with a shutout in the first quarter and only five goals allowed the rest of the way. The team's 13 caused turnovers also tied the fourth most in a game in program history.

Scouting Navy
The Midshipmen dropped their season opener against No. 11 Duke, 15-10 in Durham. Navy enters Sunday's contest receiving votes in the ILWomen/IWLCA Top 25. The team enters 2023 with a younger core, getting all 10 goals from underclassmen against the Blue Devils as they look to build off of a 15-5 record a season ago. More than that, Navy has championship pedigree, making a run as far as the NCAA Final Four in 2017.
