GREENVILLE, N.C. – The East Carolina lacrosse team is set to host the No. 18 Duke Blue Devils on Wednesday at 5 p.m. in Johnson Stadium. The game will be free to attend for fans and will be available for streaming on ESPN+.

Last Time Out
The Pirates gutted out a 7-5 win over Old Dominion to close out their five-game road swing on Saturday. Brynn Knight made eight saves on the day as she continues to lead the league in goals allowed and save percentage. Ellie Bromley scored a second-half hat trick and Caroline Kimel scored a pair of goals in the third quarter as they Pirates overcame a slow start for the win.

Scouting the Blue Devils
Duke has gotten off to a slow start to the season, albeit against stiff competition. The Blue Devils have faced six teams which either were or are ranked or receiving votes including now No. 1 Syracuse in their last outing, a 16-10 home loss. Katie DeSimone is leading Duke with 30 goals already on the season while Maddie Jenner is as talented as ever with her 97 draw controls.

Series History
The Pirates and Blue Devils have met five times with Duke taking each matchup in largely comfortable fashion. In the most recent meeting, a season ago in Durham, Leah Bestany's four goals were not enough as Duke controlled the draw 22-9 and cruised to a 19-9 victory.
